¡Avance histórico! Nuestra campaña #falsalibertad, donde denunciamos por primera vez en Chile la realidad de los huevos de “gallinas libres”, tuvo un positivo resultado en la Corte Suprema, donde se sentenció a favor de Animal Libre y la denuncia que hicimos por irregularidades en la avícola que expusimos.
Nuestro director jurídico, @diego.friver indicó que “es un hito histórico en materia de derechos medioambientales dado que un grupo de vecinos sin grandes recursos fue capaz de vencer -a través de una ONG sin fines de lucro- a una gran y poderosa industria que ocupa una imagen y certificaciones para vender productos a mayor precio. Con lo anterior, se logrará mejorar la calidad de vida de las gallinas y permitir a los vecinos vivir su vida sin las molestias que ocasiona la actividad de la avícola.”
Esto confirma el mal proceder de esta empresa “certificada” que aludía a un mayor bienestar animal y buenas condiciones de los animales, cuando la realidad es totalmente distinta.

Historic progress! Our campaign #Falsalibertad, where we exposed for the first time in Chile the reality of “free-range” eggs, had a positive result in the Supreme Court. The ruling was in favor of Animal Libre and our complaint regarding the poultry farm.
Our legal director, @diego.friver, stated: “This is a historic milestone regarding environmental rights, since through a non-profit NGO, a group of neighbors was able to defeat a powerful industry that uses certifications to sell products at higher prices. This decision will improve the quality of life for hens and will allow the neighbors to live their lives without the problems caused by the poultry farm’s operations.”
This confirms the wrongdoing of this “certified” company, which claimed to have higher animal welfare and good living conditions, when the reality is entirely different.
