✅"Todos los habitantes de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires tendrán derecho a acceder a una alimentación adecuada y conforme a sus decisiones éticas".⁠

👉Esto es lo que expresa el Proyecto de Ley trabajado entre Animal Libre en Argentina y el equipo de la diputada Laura Velasco, quien lo presentó recientemente en la Legislatura Porteña.⁠

📌De aprobarse esta ley, todos los comercios habilitados para ofrecer comida quedarán sujetos al cumplimiento de sus artículos, los cuales establecen que "los establecimientos gastronómicos privados de CABA deberán incorporar #comidavegana a su oferta gastronómica en cada sección de su carta".⁠

⁠

🫑Se establece también que "la comida vegana ofrecida en los establecimientos gastronómicos no deberá superar el precio promedio de su equivalente no vegano" ofrecido en la carta.⁠

⁠

💚Asimismo, la autoridad de aplicación deberá crear el Plan de Promoción e Impulso de Comida Vegana, publicitándola como una alternativa #ética, #sostenible y #saludable; brindando capacitación al personal gastronómico habilitado para la creación de estos platos y promoviendo los vegetales de origen #orgánico y #agroecológico, entre otras propuestas.⁠

✅ “Every resident of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (also known as CABA) will have the right to access food that meets their ethical choices”

👉 This is what the bill proposed by Animal Libre Argentina and the team of Congresswoman Laura Velasco states. She presented it in the Buenos Aires Legislature.

📌If this law is approved, every business that has been authorized to serve food will be required to comply with its provisions, which establish that “private gastronomic establishments in CABA must include #veganfood in each section of their menu.”

🫑It is also established that “the vegan food offered in gastronomic establishments must not exceed the average price of its non-vegan equivalent” on the menu.

💚In addition, the enforcing authority must create the Vegan Food Promotion and Development Plan, promoting it as an #ethical, #sustainable, and #healthy alternative. They must train certified food service staff in the preparation of these dishes and encourage the use of #organic and #agroecological plant-based ingredients, among other initiatives.
