El primer fin de semana de abril pero del 2011, nuestra organización con 3 valientes activistas, protestamos por primera vez en el champion rodeo en Rancagua en Chile, deteniendo esta actividad y creando debate nacional sobre esta práctica.

Luego de esto, cada año hemos seguido protestando en las medialunas y deteniendo rodeos, sumando a destacadas figuras públicas como @elialbasetti @soledad_perez_animalista y @jparadahoyl quienes junto a cientos de activistas, han expresado con nuestros carteles el mensaje de “Abolición” y “No Más Rodeo”

Seguiremos trabajando y reduciendo los rodeos en esta país, hasta que esta práctica sea solo un mal recuerdo de una tradición absurda.

In the first weekends of April 2011, our organization, along with 3 brave activists, protested for the first time at the Champion Rodeo in Rancagua, Chile, stopping this activity and sparking a national debate about this practice.

Since then, every year we have been protesting at rodeo arenas and stopping the activity, joined by public figures like @elialbasetti, @soledad_perez_animalista and @jparadahoyl who, along with hundreds of activists, have spread the message of “Abolition” and “No More Rodeo” with our signs.

We will continue to work to abolish rodeos in this country until this practice becomes nothing but a bad memory of an absurd tradition.
